Dreamrealm's Tower of Despair is a first person RPG whose action happens inside a haunted tower where dungeon-crawler mechanics meet a light but disturbing horror ambience. The story revolves around a knight of light that embarks onto a quest to fight an evil vampire that deceives his followers into blood rituals and sacrifices for his own gain. Throughout the tower, you'll have to gather more and more clues and lore pieces to build evidence against this hellish envoy. Moreso, important heirlooms of your creed will be found at some point to give you advantage against Malgrym's acolytes, and even against himself. At times, you'll get hints about what's happening from the victims themselves, even more their riddles or level puzzles will take you further in progression. Using your Journal and the ability to search for hidden clues will be your utmost aid throughout this tower. The light horror ambience is combined with combat scenes to immerse you in this parallel world from within the Dreamrealm Universe where the Light takes its toll against the corrupted nightmares affecting the veil of sleep.
